Brief History
Scandinavian approach to wood
Practice in construction has formed a deep understanding of the material and its use in the interior. Experience with European projects has shown a different approach: old wood is used as a full-fledged design element, especially in Scandinavian countries, where natural materials are the basis of space.
Previously, the material was exported for projects outside Ukraine, where authenticity is highly valued. In Ukraine, old wood is also common, but rarely used as a full-fledged design material.
Today, this approach is actively developing, forming a new culture of using natural materials in modern interiors - from loft and rustic to minimalism, Japanese and Scandinavian style.
